Welcome to the web site of John M. Weeter M.D. Dr. Weeter is the senior partner in Associates in Plastic Surgery, PLLC. He is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. He practices  in Louisville, Kentucky and has patients that come to him throughout Kentucky and Indiana, and also a number of more distant states.

Scope of Practice

This website is dedicated primarily to the majority of cosmetic procedures available through the practice. Selected other reconstructive plastic surgical procedures are also included. Dr. Weeter provides a broad range of skills in cosmetic plastic surgery, as well as, therapeutic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages.  Some of the most requested procedures are Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Tummy Tuck (abdominoplasty), Labiaplasty (Labial Reduction Surgery), Facelift and eyelid surgery, and Rhinoplasty.

Consultation

In scheduling a consultation, Dr. Weeter wants to have adequate time to learn about your goals for plastic surgery and your medical history. He will thoroughly evaluate the condition and determine the most appropriate solution. Then he will provide detailed information about the surgical procedures available, costs or insurance coverage, recovery, and other factors that are important to consider for surgery. Your evaluation, surgical care, and your care during recovery is individualized for your specific situation and provided with utmost confidentiality. Throughout your care the practice strives to maintain a standard of excellence and treat you with compassion.

Staff

The office and hospital team includes the receptionist, surgery scheduling secretary, office manager, and registered nurses. The office and nursing staff have many years of experience that is reflected by their memberships in The Plastic Surgery Administrative Association, The American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN), and The Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN). The registered nurses are also certified by the AORN and ASPSN.

The courteous staff is available to help you from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The office can be reached during office hours or the physician on-call through the answering service after hours at 502-895-5466.

Location

The office is located in Louisville, Kentucky across from Baptist Hospital East and very close to Norton Suburban Hospital with its Woman's Pavilion, and Jewish Hospital's new outpatient facility (Jewish Healthcare Center East), and The Springs Medical Center. There is easy access from the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and Breckenridge Lane. Plenty of free parking is immediately adjacent to the building.

Hospital Affiliations

All of the major surgical procedures are done in the safety of hospital or accredited outpatient facilities. Dr. Weeter most commonly uses Baptist Hospital East, Jewish Hospital and Norton Health Care Hospitals (Suburban, Kosair Children's, and Norton).
