“Other celebs such as Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, and John Travolta also seem to have much thicker hair than they once did”

Balding - it's a fact of life for many males. The problems usually arise in the "in-between" stages of hair loss, when the hairline begins to recede. Because it is often difficult for men to part with their thick, healthy hair, they frequently opt for a variety of restoration methods that range from non-surgical treatment to more extensive surgical hair replacement procedures.

And while male celebrities are often regarded as having ideal appearances, they face hair loss dilemmas as well. In Hollywood, there is always someone younger and more attractive waiting in the wings to take over. Therefore, for many stars, the pressures to remain youthful-looking and handsome are much more worrisome than for the ordinary man.

Here are a few male celebrities who have battled with male pattern baldness, along with their follicle fixes:

  • Jude Law - From a thin head of hair to a much thicker mane, many are speculating that Jude Law has clever hairstyling techniques, wears a hairpiece, has undergone hair transplant surgery, or has his hairline airbrushed for film and ad appearances. That pretty much covers all bases when it comes to treating baldness. No one knows for sure how Law's hair reappears in certain situations, but it does.

  • Brendan Fraser - Brendan Fraser has undergone hair treatment rumors since his latest movie premiered. His once sparse locks are now substantially thicker, leaving many to assume he has worn hairpieces, had hair plugs inserted into his scalp, or maybe even went as far as hair transplant surgery. From the photos, it is obvious that Fraser has done something significant to improve his hair loss condition.

  • Matthew McConaughey - It is reported that Matthew McConaughey admitted to his hair woes, and claimed that he had been using a treatment called Regenix. However, many claim that a non-invasive treatment like this one wouldn't provide the quick results that he received. Hair experts suggest that it is very likely that he had a hair transplant procedure in conjunction with his Regenix use.

  • Jeremy Piven - Do you remember Jeremy Piven in his early acting days? He was apparently balding. Now, although, he seems to have lush locks. Most conclude that the actor wears toupees to camouflage his receding hairline. It's pretty unanimous that experts don't believe he has undergone any surgical procedures to increase the amount of hair that he has.

Other celebs such as Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, and John Travolta also seem to have much thicker hair than they once did, leaving many suspicious of their tactics. Regardless of the means through which their hair now flourishes - they are looking better than ever.

Under the watchful eye of stardom, it is no wonder that men feel the pressure to undergo hair restoration procedures. Similar to their female counterparts who may opt for procedures such as Botox injections, facelift surgery, and breast implants to appeal to the masses, male celebrities are just as image-conscious.
