Eyebrow Lift

("Brow Lift" or "Forehead Lift")

Ideal Eyebrow Lift Candidates

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your face, specifically around the forehead and eyebrows, and are seeking a more rested, rejuvenated look, you may be an ideal candidate for eyebrow lift surgery. In general, those best suited for this procedure are patients with:

  • Good skin elasticity
  • Loose, wrinkled, or drooping skin of the forehead/brows
  • Wanting to eliminate permanently tired, sad, or angry looking expressions

An ideal patient must also be physically and psychologically healthy, non-smokers (or willing to quit smoking during the before and after stages of surgery), aware of the risks and side effects associated with brow lift surgery, and seeking improvement rather than perfection. Commonly, patients who have this procedure are in the age range of 40 to 60 years old. However, if you are showing signs of aging on your upper face and have adequate skin elasticity, a patient of any age may be able to undergo forehead lift surgery.

During a consultation with a trained brow lift surgeon, he/she will perform a thorough examination to determine if you will benefit from this procedure.
