Preparing for Butt Implant Surgery
As you begin your plastic surgery journey, PlasticSurgery.com is here to help you through the process. From the beginning stages of research, to finding a doctor and undergoing a procedure, our site is an informational resource that you can turn to for all of your elective surgery education.
If you decide that butt implants are an enhancement that you'd like to pursue, we recommend that you schedule an appointment with a plastic surgeon after you've gathered information here on our site.
A consultation with a trained buttock augmentation expert will reveal the best surgical approach for you. Once you understand the procedure, the physician may suggest that you follow these instructions to prepare for surgery:
- Adjust medications (either refrain from certain medicines or begin taking others)
- Undergo lab testing to ensure that you are healthy enough for surgery
- Refrain from smoking at least two weeks before and after surgery
During this appointment, you will have the opportunity to ask any question you may have about butt implants. To help you through this, we have developed a "Surgeon Questionnaire" that you can print out and take to your consultation.
Please feel free to visit our Butt Implants Forum. There, you may ask questions and receive feedback from other users, as well as our healthcare specialist, Stephanie.
